Perseverant or Stubborn?

What is the difference between being stubborn and being perseverant?

Both are insistent.

The stubborn pursue evil.

The perseverant pursue good.

The stubborn insist on walking down the wrong path.

The perseverant insists on doing what is right.

The stubborn, in addition to being weak, is proud.

He does not listen to advice.

The perseverant, in addition to being strong, is humble.

He is always ready to listen to and practice good advice.

The stubborn knows when he is wrong.

But ...

Insists all the same.

The perseverant knows that his faith works.

This is because he trusts in the Word of God.

His strength does not let him get discouraged or give up.

He keeps on fighting.

On the other hand, the stubborn is hard-headed.

There is only one reason for him to keep insisting:

His pride.

Because of this, he is constantly failing.

He is a loser.

And you?
Are you stubborn or perseverant?
