Walk in the Spirit. This is a command from the Holy Spirit to His children and servants.
But how can we walk in the Spirit and not give in to the desires of the flesh? It seems impossible. And in fact, it is as long as we lack a spiritual nature, as long as we are not born of the Holy Spirit.
Would God ask us to do the impossible?
I don’t think so, how about you?
The fact is, anyone born of the Spirit is spirit. Therefore, walking in the Spirit and overcoming the flesh are absolutely possible and even required.
How do we walk in the Spirit?
When our thoughts and God’s thoughts are linked in our day to day life, whatever belongs to the flesh loses its appeal.
This is why only those who are born of the Spirit overcome, not only the desires of the flesh but the world itself. I John 5.4
It’s worth mentioning that God gives us the right to ask for the impossible, but in return feels He has the right to insist that we do all we can possibly do, for our own good.
Many Christians don’t want Your Kingdom (obedience to God’s Word) but they want Him to come (God’s blessings).

Hi Bishop!! How can we get bless if we will not obey God's word? In order for us to recieved blessings it requires sacrifice as well. What's that sacrifice? To obey His word.

The only way to remain connected to GOD is when we become like HIM "Spirit". It is without a doubt that the flesh remains the vehicle of the devil, thus as a requirement - "children of GOD" must put to a dead stop the fleming desires of the flesh & persue what is pleasing to GOD. When we are spirit - we are like a fragrance (perfume) to GOD - very pleasing. When one is "not of spirit" he remains blind to the plans to GOD regarding their lives - THANK YOU
Yes Bishop, Anyone who is born of the Spirit of God is Spirit and overcomes the temptations and trials of the world problems will come but you will always overcome problems by the Spirit of God which is in you. Amen

This is why Bishop we need to need to be in constant communion with God. He will help us and our path in order to overcome the flesh, things of this world that the devil used to distract us to take our souls away. When we walk in Spirit, we dont even notice this world, because whatever comes we phase it and overcome it, be it, Teptation,Bad toughts, Hardships whatever when it finds us in Faith it never put us down but we make it our steping stone. May God of the Bible be with you Bishop, and evryone who is In this Faith.
It might be hard during the 1st stage of your convertion. I myself did find it hard @ the begining just because some stains (sins) were regid and they needed a hummer (Words & The Kingdom).
After cleansing, you will find the way, because you clean for the HS to come in and He is the one who makes things posible to overcome what ever problem may come.
Pls let us not go for 'come' rather for 'Your Kingdom'.

Its so true Bishop: many Christians come to the UCKG just to get what they want, but when it comes to more giving tithes, seeking the Holy Spirit or deliverance, they don't turn up for the Friday or Wednesday services! "I'm strong", "I'm already of God", "Tithing is a scam...". And the worst part is that they give up when things get hard.
I don't know what this world is coming to...

God always make a way
This is true. Its not impossible. Many people give the excuse that its too hard but God never asks us to do what we can't handle. We just need to be equipped with the right tool; the Holy Spirit. A fireman would never try & put out a burning building without fireproof gear on. Its the same way that we can't expect to have the willpower to overcome our flesh without the Holy Spirit.
