All human beings are intelligent, some more than others. But we all have the potential to overcome difficulties and challenges.
When we understand that the root cause of failure is our own inner conflicts, we stop blaming our lack of opportunity—in other words, the ongoing battle between thoughts and feelings, reason and emotion, or soul and spirit.
“No one can serve two masters.”
It’s impossible to simultaneously listen to the voice of reason and the desires of your heart without being caught in a crossfire. Two masters, two heads, two authorities.
“For either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.” Matthew 6.24
The only way to escape this inner conflict is to sacrifice one of the parties. There can be no ceasefire. They pull in opposite directions. They have different interests.
Reason thinks, weighs, meditates, evaluates the consequences and plans—and naturally takes a little longer to make decisions. It doesn’t feel the need to rush or be anxious because of the wait. It is mature and experienced.
When we submit to the Word of God, reason acts by faith and depends solely on God.
The same is not true of the heart. It is uncommitted, hasty, reckless and uneasy; it does not evaluate the consequences, it makes hasty decisions and always gets into trouble. It’s like a child. It is immature, it has no spiritual vision and does not notice danger signs. In other words, it believes in Santa Claus…
This is why so many people are unhappy in their love life. They’ve surrendered their hearts to anyone dressed in a Santa Claus costume..
The truth is, if we do not change inside, the conflict between common sense and the heart will last forever, and the consequences will be career-failure, heartbreak, depression, sadness, health problems, etc.—all because of the feelings of a twisted heart.
If you don’t believe this, look at your life and draw your own conclusions.

Bishop my mom says your the moses of today
Hello bishop!
When a person gives way to her heart, the heart blocks out her mind therefore she makes decisions based on feelings, and feeling decisions leads to a life that has no intelligence!
We have to decide... Heart or mind!
The fruits we reap will be a visible result!
In faith
The heart is deceitful and full of emotions.
That's why we have to be very careful with the decisions that we make not to use the feelings of the heart.
This message highlights this for us all and Is a good meditating tool.
Dear Bishop,
This message is an eye opener, the contrast between Jesus and santa clause is totally different! Which mean most people always listen to their heart, they would rather sacrifice their minds intelligence to feel something in their heart which is sad! We really do have to be careful with using emotions, because it will come to a point where they will not be able to differentiate the will of the heart or mind
It is true Bp, when one understand the root cause of the failure what ever it might be, a person remains with two options only: either to dig deep and root it out or leave it with tomorrow's concequences to his/her generation.
We thank the LORD for yet another 21 days of Fasting of Daniel - For sure it is for a purpose. May God give us strength.
Good afternoon Bishop, very hard to put in practice but essential for us to keep listening to God's voice. Thank you very much for this post. May God bless you more and more.
Santa Claus, Santa Claus! Yea, the one who can reveal who the tru Santa is, is the HP.
The 4th 21 days Fasting of Daniel is here to, among other purposes, reveals who Santa really is.
very powerful and true indeed. I am currently encountering the same experience. thank you very much for the teaching. I pray for grace to live up to it.
Good afternoon
First of all, we have to decide before we take any step.
"No one can serve two masters". TRUE.
Hi Bishop I found this message really strong before the last 21days challenge I was going through this spiritual illness. All the areas of my life was blessed, I tried everything to change but it still didn't work,I found out later one that I was surfing two master,I was loyal to one and I despised the other so I made my decision Bishop and every day is Aaah what a day for me.
Thank You
Bishop
Good afternoon bishop,
In an article I read it stated that a human brain can only process one thought at a time .
When your mind is pre-occupied upon the most greatest prize (receiving His spirit- or more of it) there is no room for emotional thinking. Because you are continuously turning to His Spirit- and through this process every time all what you are doing (fighting the good fight) - and why (for your salvation- and for that of others) is repeatedly being brought to your rememberence.
Good day Bispo
Thank God is the 21 days again what a blessing for my spiritual life
My heart decisions have cost me dearly. The opportunity to reflect on such at the beginning of the year is really helpful in focusing on growing spiritually.
Thanks Bishop
Good morning Bp.
It is true a mind might take a little time to reason where as the heart does not reason at all and those who live by hearts are at risk.
The 21 days fast is a blessing tO us.
Thank you Bp
Bishop, this messages relates to everyone including myself. There's always times when we receive bad news and straight away we already think its a blockage, but who allows us to think like this but our hearts! If we actually took time tO think properly we could solve the situation right there and then but we are to quick to jump to a conclusion. Very strong
This is strong Bishop, but not something we haven't heard before which means we should be putting it into practice.
Thanks for the reminder
Is very important Bishop,
The Fast of Daniel,again
Will help many people know God and receive the Holy Spirit..
Haaaaaaa ! What a Day
The Holy Spirit is the only soluction for this trouble between heart and Mind or like you said bishop, soul and spirit. When He down in our lives, he change everything in us, of course We need to agree with Him 'cause, he'll never do something that We don't want to. Even the people who have the Holy Spirit must always be vigilant to do not fall into heart's emotion. Na fé!
Very true, we cannot serve two masters.
As also stated we cannot be Lukewarm with our spiritual life, and those that are, will be vomitted out.
I strongly agree with this; "When we submit to the Word of God, reason acts by faith and depends solely on God.".. Depending on God, is the way forward.
very helpful
