The following is the above telephone conversation, where Bishop Romualdo counsels Mrs. Maria Jose, who has fallen away from the church.

BR: Good afternoon Mrs. Maria Jose
MJ: Hi
BR: Hi Mrs. Maria Jose. Why are you crying?
MJ: My life is completely destroyed because I’ve fallen away. It’s been six years since I’ve stopped going to church and I’ve lost everything, everything, everything. My husband left me for another woman and they’re living two blocks away from my house. Now, it’s just me and my daughter. The other day, I almost gave her poison and then drank it myself. I can’t seem to come back to church. I walk by everyday but I just can’t bring myself to go inside. I can’t go inside, bishop. Yesterday, I walked past the church on my way to visit a friend who works at a nearby meat market and who also happens to be a member of the church. I begged her, ‘For God’s sake, please take me to church today’. My life is completely destroyed. I began smoking and drinking, my husband left me for another woman, I’ve tried killing myself, I’m on antidepressants… I had my mind set on going to the cathedral during the 21 Day Fast campaign but I couldn’t bring myself to leave the house. I just couldn’t leave the house. I couldn’t… I haven’t slept in 45 days. I’ve lost about 20 pounds. I’ve tried to kill myself twice. Bishop, I’ve even tried to kill my own daughter, who was a blessing from God through a Campaign of Israel.
BR: Ma’am, place your hands over your heart.
MJ: Yes, sir.
BR: Please close your eyes and allow me to pray for you. ‘In Jesus’ name, I rebuke the spirit that caused her to fall away from the church, all the evil forces that are binding her life, causing her to drink, the spirit of addictions and death, the unclean spirit that’s trying to convince her that her only solution is death. I order you to get out right now. I order the spirit that doesn’t want Mrs. Maria to come back, the spirit that overwhelms her with fear and doubt, the one who always manifests himself when she’s determined to come back to church, get out right now. I bind you and I order you to get out in Jesus’ name. I rebuke the spirit of death from her life, in Jesus’ name, leave and never come back. Mrs. Maria Jose…
MJ: Yes, sir
BR: Take the glass of water in your hands and repeat after me, ‘God is great and the Lord Jesus is by my side. Holy Spirit, bless this water and give me the strength to come back to Your house, in Jesus’ name, Amen’.
MJ: ‘God is great and the Lord Jesus is by my side. Holy Spirit, bless this water and give me the strength to come back to Your house, in Jesus’ name, Amen’.
BR: Please, drink some water and take a deep breath. Have you taken a deep breath?
MJ: Yes
BR: Do you feel better now?
MJ: Yes. I feel lighter. That’s what I needed. I need to come back but I need your help. God bless you bishop.
BR: See you soon Mrs. Maria.
MJ: See you soon bishop, thanks.

On Saturday, May 7th , at 7Am, the UCKG will hold special meetings in all of the state and regional Upper Rooms of the Holy Spirit throughout the country in Brasil, aiming to revive the faith of those who are feeling weak and those who for some reason have fallen away from the presence of God. The date and time were not chosen by accident; 7 is God’s perfect number. Don’t allow discouragement, laziness, fatigue or any other reason stop you from coming and bringing someone, such as a family member or friend, that needs to strengthen their faith.

I, Bishop Romualdo, along with Bishop Guaracy, will be in the Upper Room in Santo Amaro, Sao Paulo. We’ll be fasting and calling out to God in favor of those who, one day, had an encounter with God but for some reason became weak in faith.

Faith is the Spirit of God at work within us and the secret to keep from falling away is to maintain your faith in action. If you stand fast with God, come and strengthen yourself even more. If you know someone who has fallen away, make sure you invite them and do everything in your power to have them attend this special meeting of deliverance. If you don’t allow God to use you as a vessel to help others, certainly you’ll end up being corrupted by this world.

Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth. Jeremiah 17:13
